Electronic signing methods for Belgian B2B mandates

Tags:agreementsb2bbelgiumelectronic-signing

Not all Belgian banks support electronic signing for B2B mandates through Twikey. This page provides an overview of available signing methods per bank. If your customer's bank is not listed below, you'll need to use the paper-based signing method.

How it works

When a bank is connected to Twikey's electronic signature solution:

  1. Your customer signs the B2B mandate using one of the available electronic methods
  2. The agreement appears in your Twikey dashboard with status 'Awaiting bank approval'
  3. The bank reviews the mandate (this typically takes between 5 minutes to 2 business days)
  4. The status changes to either 'Signed' (approved) or 'Cancelled' (rejected by the bank)

Supported banks and signing methods

The table below shows which electronic signing methods are supported by each Belgian bank:

Bank not listed?

If your customer's bank does not appear in this table, electronic signing is not available. You can still create B2B mandates using the traditional paper-based method and upload the signed document to Twikey.
