Maximum amount for B2B mandates - Netherlands

Dutch B2B customers can set a maximum amount to limit debits and prevent excessive charges.
This is a mandate-level limit set by your customer (the debtor), not a company-level setting. Don't confuse it with the account-wide bank submission limits, which apply to every collection across your whole account and are configured in Twikey by Twikey support on request. The maximum amount described here only applies to Digitaal Incassomachtigen (eMachtiging) B2B mandates, and only reflects what that one customer chose for that one mandate.
See Company information for those account-wide bank submission limits.
- In Twikey, this is exposed as a custom
maxAmount attribute on the B2B profile, of type Text.

- See Attributes settings for how to add this attribute to a profile.
- Leave the attribute's value empty when inviting the customer — it is filled in automatically once the customer sets their limit during signing, at their own bank.
How to update the maximum amount
A maximum amount can only be updated by your customer (debtor).
More information can be found on the debtor help pages
If your customer cannot find the details, you can always provide them a link to grant them access to their mandate on your Twikey platform.
- Navigate to the mandate of the customer
- Click on the paper plane icon
- Send the link to the customer
